Last Friday I came here for the second time, and they more than remedied the slightly subpar service I had last month.
Our server was a slightly stoic bald individual named Ken, that appeared to take serving very seriously.
Normally I get nervous when servers do not write down what I order as I usually make it overly complex and i start getting afraid they'll mess it up, but his exuded confidence stayed my concerns.
When the food arrived it was all correct, delicious and in the correct order.
For an appetizer we ordered pita and tzatzaki and it was extremely refreshing. The pita was slightly warmed up just enough to make it feel fresh. When dipped in the sauce, it served as the perfect light cleansing of the tastebuds before the the real food arrived. Ken had recommended the spinach cheese dip, which may have been another acceptable option.
I ordered the ravioli, which I personally thought was slightly bland and dry, if not extremely filling. It was still much tastier than anything I could whip up in my pathetic excuse for a kitchen.
It has an exceptional amount of cheese and actually requires effort when lifting. You'll notice I am speaking in the present tense because 3/4 of it is still in the fridge. I probably wouldn't get it again, and just go with a pizza, just because it was so much, and pizza tends to keep better.
While the food was good, and the service great, the ambiance was even better. They've recently renovated and gone with a traditional Mediterranean theme that really suits the menu perfectly.
In conclusion, I felt like had an evening at a much higher class of restaurant than my $50 bill (for 3 people) would reflect, and would recommend anyone in the area check it out.
